Faith That Reflects Christ
Scripture Reading:
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." — Hebrews 11:1
The Christian life is not built on self-confidence but on complete dependence upon Jesus Christ. Ellen G. White reminds us that Christ is the foundation of His church, and every believer is called to reveal His character through love, compassion, humility, and self-sacrifice. Faith is what connects us to heaven and gives us strength to overcome temptation and every challenge we face.
Many believers struggle because they focus on their weaknesses instead of Christ's strength. Yet Jesus gives a beautiful promise:
"Whoever comes to Me I will never cast out." (John 6:37)
No matter how discouraged we feel, we are invited to come to Him in faith. As we spend time in His Word and seek Him in prayer, He transforms our hearts, replacing fear with peace, doubt with confidence, and selfishness with His love.
This week, let your life be a reflection of Christ. Allow His Spirit to guide your thoughts, words, and actions so that others may see His love through you.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the solid foundation of my life. Increase my faith and help me trust You more each day. Teach me to reflect the character of Jesus in everything I do. When I become discouraged, remind me to look to Christ instead of myself. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that my life may bring glory to Your name. Strengthen me to overcome temptation and to walk faithfully with You.
